Half-Way 6/12

I know it’s been forever since I blogged anything and for that I apologize. Today dad received his 6th chemotherapy treatment. He is doing well, but is starting to stay tired more often. Sorry for the long delay between posts, but my job has been really hectic lately (it’s definetly flu season, and we at St. Jude are busier than ever). I will try from now on to keep up with the blog better than I have been. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Love,
-Daniel

    Hi there Daniel,

First of all, please do not apologize for ANYTHING. I was watching you take up some cords at the front of the church as we were all visiting Sunday night. I said to Jim Nolting, “I wonder if we really know all that Daniel does for us.” NO!! of course not. How could we know when most of us are clueless to begin with? So, since this is Pastor appreciation month, and you are our Pastor of Technology, I want you to know how much I appreciate EVERYTHING you do for us Daniel. It is important. The work that you do adds so much to our worship/understanding/hearing part of the service. We would never “get” it all without it on the screen-in print for some of us uh-slower individuals. : ) And with that being said, I am concerned for your parents. What your dad has to do on any given Sunday is very tiring in and of itself. Now with the added strain of chemo, we must all pray faithfully for his strength and continued well-being. I am trusting God on this Daniel, with new faith. If I had not been carried by the love and mercy of Jesus myself, maybe I would not KNOW how Jesus binds up, heals and makes strong. But I have and I do. I believe He heals and I believe that He is absolutely Sovereign over all His works. Ok, did not mean to preach a sermon. That is NOT my job, lol, that is your dad’s. Bye for now Daniel. And thank you-all of you Darnell’s for all you do for us. I am very grateful. Verna
